Role

You will create and execute the Development Business strategy to be successful. You'll have unique insight in applying Grivy solutions to Sales objectives and navigating intricate acquisition processes. In this role, you will lead the overall functional and strategic coordination of the sales team, as well as the leadership of all of the sales activities of the business.

You will own acquisition of new customers, including initial market demand generation and all lead-to-close activities. The successful candidate will be a natural leader who has led national sales in a SaaS business. We are working together to help business do more business and people find the things around them. Grivy is a 'pay for performance' business model and charges customers based on actual store redemptions, with a monthly commitment on services and subscriptions.

Responsibilities

  • Visit potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
  • Gather market and customer information to improve sales performance
  • Gather product/service pricing, profitability and availability to maximize returns
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Keep track of new products, developments and customer ever changing needs
  • Record sales and order information, communicate progress and requirements to the departments
  • Review personal sales performance periodically, meet or exceed targets set by the sales director
  • Work with the marketing department, feedback on sales performance and customer feed-back

Minimum qualifications

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • MS Office and web proficiency

Preferred qualifications

  • Ridiculously detail-oriented
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of the pace and other characteristics of a sales environment
