The Account Strategy team works closely with our Sales, Campaign, Data and Success teams to offer retail solutions the world’s best known brands, guide campaigns from conception to launch to reporting to optimization at scale, as well as the servicing of those account to provide ultimate account success. As the Accounts Head, you bridge Sales, Campaign and Client Success as you design services that our customers love. Role

As Head of Accounts, you will set the direction for our Sales teams through Account Execution and Strategy, partner with some of our largest partners and clients through Campaign Execution and Strategy, and ensure they are getting the most out of their Grivy investment through Account Success Execution and Strategy. You’ll work closely with our Sales teams to create client strategies, offering optimal solutions using Grivy’s products and help them reach millions of qualified users. You will lead Campaign execution together with our Data Team and Campaign Leads, and provide continuous strategies for optimization. You will lead the Account Success by combining data insights with new solutions and services, and make those available to partners and clients.

Armed with deep knowledge of our product solutions and our clients’ marketing objectives, you will advise our clients on growing their business and maximizing return on their marketing investment. We are all about our clients. In this role, you are a strategist, manager, advisor, coach and consultant, as well as a client advocate within Grivy. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. You are a self starter with a bias to action and have fantastic team spirit. Within this role you develop healthy unit economics for Sales, Campaign and Success divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Set account direction for Sales teams, execute, manage and report on Sales performance. Identify growth opportunities across accounts. Support multi-product solution presentations and work alongside Sales teams to build a growth strategy for prospective advertisers.
  • Set account direction for Campaign teams, execute, manage and report on Campaign performance. Manage and monitor account growth through implementing campaign solutions; build campaigns for customers, monitor and optimize for performance to work towards customer marketing objectives. Operate across all Grivy products and channels.
  • Set account direction for Success teams, execute, manage and report on Success performance. Manage marketing objectives for a specified client portfolio. Work alongside Account teams to drive business/performance growth through systematic interventions, and also ensure your client portfolio sustains effective business growth.
  • Develop an understanding of products and tools, and gather and analyze data at an account, campaign and industry level.
  • Provide account and campaign servicing for a portfolio of accounts for select performance products.
  • Identify client’s business objectives and challenges to accurately assess needs, working together to create campaign management plans for account optimization.
  • Build new processes and solutions to simplify complex product optimizations and workflow. Act as an advocate for clients and your team to optimize business growth through best practice sharing.
  • Anticipate business growth challenges and identify and lead opportunities/programs that need to be initiated. Manage the day-to-day stakeholders and operations with limited guidance.
  • Provide practitioner insights to influence product and servicing. Support internal teams by providing them with feedback and formulating product asks relevant to client and market needs.
  • Presentation of campaign results at C-level at clients and partners, and the ability to upsell and cross sell new features, products and solutions.
  • Set the direction, projections and key performance indicators for the subdivisions and develop strong unit economics on account acquisition, management and renewal.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business, statistics, economics, engineering or any analytical field.
  • 5 years of experience managing marketing campaigns and/or managing analytically oriented projects with large customer impact.
  • Experience in analyzing and managing large data sets.
  • Experience in managing internal teams, clients and strategic partners.
  • Experience in strategy, planning and executing multiple, complex marketing programs including marketing campaigns.
  • People management experience, including strong leadership, team building and process development.
  • Project management skills and experience, including managing external creative agencies, events vendors, large channel partners, and international projects, and working with a cross-functional team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA. 
  • Experience with account management in retail.
  • Experience working with and selling through online and reseller partners.
  • Experience of presenting digital solutions to clients and/or working in direct sales.
  • Experience of implementing, optimizing and managing digital advertising campaigns for large clients, with a background in online measurement, operations and advertising networks.
  • Ability to operate strategically and analytically, to understand client needs. Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, with a passion to create and share best practices to inculcate a culture of learning by sharing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and manage accounts, deliverables and key objectives.
  • Ability to independently lead, communicate and collaborate with multiple business partners and work effectively with internal teams.
